What We Repair in Bono
Washer Repair: Top-load and front-load washers that won't drain, spin, or start.
Dryer Repair: Gas and electric dryers with no heat, long dry times, or odd noises.
Refrigerator Repair: Fridges and freezers that aren't keeping things cold, plus leaks and ice makers.
We work on common brands like Whirlpool, Maytag, Samsung, LG, GE, Frigidaire, Kenmore, and KitchenAid. We repair gas appliances as well as electric ones.
One thing to know up front: we don't currently repair refrigerator sealed systems. That's the compressor and refrigerant side of the cooling system. If that's what we find, we'll explain it plainly so you can decide what to do next.
Service Calls and Our Repair Warranty
Service calls are $125 or $150, depending on the appliance. We'll confirm the fee when you schedule. If we complete the recommended repair, you pay the repair price we quote you before starting, with no separate service-call charge. If no repair is completed, only the service-call fee applies.
90-day warranty on parts and labor for the repair we did. If that same part fails within 90 days, we'll fix it at no charge.
$20 Off for Veterans, First Responders & Seniors: $20 off any completed repair for veterans, first responders, and seniors. The discount doesn't apply to the service-call fee when no repair is done.

Before You Call
It helps to have a few things handy:
The brand of the appliance.
What it's doing, or not doing.
Any error codes on the display.
A photo of the model and serial number tag, if it's easy to get to.
Can't find the tag? No problem. You can still book a visit.
If you have a video or a helpful photo, the office will explain how to send it when you make your appointment.
Please don't move the appliance or take off any panels to get any of this.

A Friendly Name on the Old Trail
1
A name that means "friendly"
Local tradition says founder C. L. Jones took a Choctaw word meaning "friendly" for the post office name, a nod to Texas's own friendship motto. The Handbook of Texas agrees that Jones named the town.
Bono began in the early 1870s on donated land. Sixteen acres went to a church and school, and the rest was free to anyone who would build a home there. Local tradition also holds that the old Chisholm Trail passed within half a mile of the Jones homestead.
