Burleson has grown a lot in that time, with whole new neighborhoods going up alongside the older homes. A Little Burleson History
In 1912, the Interurban line between Cleburne and Fort Worth began making a stop in Burleson. The next year, the town got its first electricity, carried on wires laid for the Interurban.
Natural gas followed in 1921, when Lone Star Gas began providing gas service to Burleson.
